A note from us

We cannot wait to celebrate with you.

After nine happy years, a great many cups of tea and one very nervous proposal, we are getting married — and we would love for you to be there.

How it began

Our Story

We met on a rainy Thursday in a bookshop that no longer exists, argued gently about poetry, and have been talking ever since. Nine years, three homes and one small dog later, here we are.

Travel & Stay

Where to Stay

The Willow Estate has twelve rooms on site, held for guests until June 2027. The Village Inn and The Old Mill Hotel are both a ten-minute drive away.

Transport

Nearest station: York, 25 minutes by taxi. Leeds Bradford Airport is 50 minutes away. A coach will run from the village to the estate before the ceremony.

Parking

Free parking is available in the estate courtyard. Cars may be left overnight and collected before 11am the following day.
